Открытые процессы над более чем 400 индейцами, участвовавшими в захвате поселка Вундед-Ни [Wounded Knee occupation/siege], которые проходили в 1974 в г. Су-Фолсе, шт. Южная Дакота, г. Линкольне, шт. Небраска, и г. Сент-Поле, шт. Миннесота. Последний - один из острейших политических процессов в современных США. Среди подсудимых на этих процессах были руководители восстания Р. Минс [Means, Russell Charles] и Д. Бэнкс [Banks, Dennis, Jr.]. Им было предъявлено 11 пунктов обвинения, но после скандального разоблачения незаконного подслушивания ФБР [Federal Bureau of Investigation] телефонных разговоров повстанцев их дело было прекращено 16 сентября 1974
